Tallinn Teachers’ House is located in the heart of the old town on Town Hall Square. It was first mentioned in 1333. 3 properties belonged to the merchants and other private owners, the tsardom of Russia, the Baltic Sea Fleet (Russia), the government of the Republic of Estonia (hall of the Temporary Government of Estonia, 1918-1919), navy officers (casino) and 1958-1989 House of the Employees of Education and Science field of Tallinn. Since 1.01.1990 - Tallinn Teachers’ House.
The quite complex collection of buildings was transferred to the Russian army in 1766, which resulted in the establishment of an officers’ club and a casino. The present division of rooms dates back to the 1830s. In the rooms of the Teachers’ House modern technical solutions are combined with a unique historical interior, which provides a perfect ground for successful events. With the Crown Hall and the Salon connected it is possible to organize receptions for up to 250 delegates. The Teachers’ House of Tallinn has rooms suitable for conferences and gala dinners as well as smaller seminars and receptions.
